WhatYou’ll Do
As an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, you’ll play a key role in inspecting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical equipment and facilities—helping drive reliability and performance across the site. You will inspect, repair, replace, lubricate and maintain mechanical equipment and facilities.
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical systems and equipment.
- Inspect, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain pumps, compressors, blowers, gearboxes, conveyors, valves, piping systems, and other rotating equipment.
- Perform precision alignment, bearing replacement, seal replacement, and equipment overhauls.
- Create, update, and complete work orders within SAP CMMS.
- Drive preventive and predictive maintenance efforts to reduce downtime and improve reliability.
- Partner with experienced mechanics on troubleshooting and performance testing.
- Proactively support preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to execute repairs accurately.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Identify opportunities to improve maintenance processes and equipment performance.
- Collaborate with your team to solve complex problems and keep operations moving.
- Collaborate with maintenance team members to diagnose issues and validate equipment performance.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, chemical, refinery, industrial processing, power generation, or heavy industrial environment.
- Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of maintenance tools and their proper use.
- Must be able to successfully obtain a TWIC card.
- Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player.
