Support function in providing assistance to Health & Safety in the areas of required inspections of facility safety equipment, health monitoring, and documentation of these activities at the Cheyenne, Wyoming Plant.

WhatYou'll Do
- Live and foster Dyno Nobel values
- Ensure compliance with applicable HSE performance standards
- Support the maintenance and improvement of the Health and Safety department for the Cheyenne, Wyoming Plant
- Daily filing and organizing safety related material
- Procedure writing (LOA, SWP, SSP, etc.)
- Conducting or assisting in root cause analysis
- Conducting annual testing and recertification of OSHA mandated topics
- Assist plant personnel and contractors with safety training (SWP, SSP, etc.)
- Updating evacuation drill and emergency response plan
- Turnaround preparation and execution
- Update monthly safety data for key performance indicator boards
- Inspects the following: fire extinguishers, escape packs, safety showers, eye wash stations, ladders, tools, fire hydrant, fire hose cabinet, fire engine inspections, fall protection equipment, etc.
- Assist in LOPA’s, PHA’s, MOC’s, and MSDS updates
- Maintain site safety signs and HSE labelling of tanks, vessels, etc.
- Technical certification, associate or bachelor's degree preferred
- Health and Safety experience or knowledge
- Knowledge of local and federal regulatory rules surrounding HSE preferred
- Some experience in a manufacturing plant preferred
- Strong computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a TWIC card
- Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player
