Position Overview
Supervisor, Medical Review – Clinical
Responsibilities- Provide operational oversight of the Medical Review Department.
- Train, supervise, and monitor assigned staff in their duties, including scheduling, payroll, counseling, coaching, and performance reviews.
- Collaborate with non‑clinical staff to uphold organizational standards for quality and timeliness.
- Partner with other departments to drive process improvement initiatives and enhance workflow.
- Lead the clinical team and act as a key liaison with the provider community.
- Represent BCBSWY as a “Brand Ambassador” within the local community and/or geographical region.
- Earned Associate of Science degree in Nursing (RN) or higher.
- Active and unrestricted clinical license.
- At least two years of supervisory experience, preferably in medical management or a health‑related field.
- Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, organizational, and motivational skills.
