Primary Care Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner

per-diem contract opportunity located in Cheyenne, WY.

The clinic is located onsite at a warehouse and is open for employees. The nurse will work alongside a Medical Assistant and will primarily provide first-aid, basic walk-in care (minor acute care such as colds, rashes, pink eye, etc.) and respond to emergencies.

8am to 5pm: 07/30, 07/31, 08/14, 08/17, 11/25, 12/21, 12/23 (additional orientation dates). Flexibility to work on an as-needed basis between Monday and Friday, 8am to 5pm.

• Active/unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) or Nurse Practitioner (FNP/ANP) license in Wyoming
• Minimum three (3) years' experience as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner
• Preferred experience in Occupational Health, Employee Health, Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Primary Care, Family Medicine, School Nursing, or Correctional setting
• Recent clinical experience and strong first-aid skills

• Nursing assessment, triage, treatment, and education for employee health concerns
• Provide wellness materials and information
• First-aid and minor acute care (e.g., cold sores, rashes, pink eye)
• Conduct medical tests such as pulmonary function, blood glucose, blood pressure, cholesterol, vision and hearing screening, and perform limited interpretation of tests
• Charting and assessment documentation
• Assist first responders in medical emergencies

• Flexibility to work on an as-needed basis between Monday and Friday, 8am to 5pm
• BLS certified (hands‑on courses only; no online accepted)
• For NP: nationally certified (ANCC or AANP) and have NPI
• For NP: current prescription authority required
• Yearly TB test or QuantiFERON Gold
• Comfortable working autonomously as the highest level of medical care on site

Estimated Min Rate $40.00;
Estimated Max Rate $45.00

NP:
Estimated Min Rate $60.00;
Estimated Max Rate $65.00
