Our client, a leading organization in the technology sector, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Analyst to join their team. As a Quality Analyst,you will be an integral part of the Quality Assurance department supporting project controls and quality initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive engagement, and a commitment to excellence, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Quality Analyst 3
Location:Cheyenne, WY
Pay Range: $42/hr to $45/hr on W2
Contract Duration
: 12 months (likely to extend)
What's the Job?
- Develop, implement, and document comprehensive testing activities including test planning, execution, and defect tracking.
- Execute test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures to ensure software quality and functionality.
- Test system modifications to prepare for implementation, ensuring they meet project requirements.
- Identify, analyze, and document issues related to program functions, outputs, and online content.
- Monitor bug resolution efforts, track progress, and maintain databases of known defects to support continuous improvement.
What's Needed?
- Associate's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5-7 years of experience testing software and developing test documentation like test plans, scripts, and reports.
- Experience with defect tracking systems and analyzing test results to recommend improvements.
- Knowledge of client'sprocesses and procedures, with past experience in quality roles preferred.
- Strong self-starting attitude with excellent engagement and attendance records.
