Retail Associate/ Customer Service, Customer Service Rep, Retail Support
Position Summary
Provide member service, maintain the checkout and entrance/exit areas, resolve member issues and concerns, promote Sam’s Club products and services, support members with self‑service technology, and process purchases, payments, returns, and exchanges according to company policies. Maintain safety, security, and orderly merchandising while executing emergency response procedures and documentation duties.
Responsibilities- Provide customer service and support to members using self‑service technology.
- Maintain checkout area, entrance and exit zones, and merchandise displays.
- Process member purchases, payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges following company policies.
- Conduct safety sweeps, report unsafe situations, and maintain a safe shopping environment.
- Verify membership cards, acknowledge member needs, and assist with purchasing decisions.
- Arrange and organize merchandise, locate items, and assist members with item transport.
- Secure and safeguard Sam’s Club assets, observe potential criminal activity, and communicate to facility management.
- Maintain paperwork, logs, and required documentation, and execute emergency response procedures.
- Train Member Frontline Services associates on company processes and new technologies.
- Deliver new program rollout training and provide continuous learning and process improvement opportunities.
- Identify shrink and damage, properly handle returns, and ensure compliance with company policies and integrity standards.
- Complete work assignments using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers, and other partners; identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; communicate progress; recommend improvement opportunities; and adapt to change.
- Promote a culture of respect, teamwork, integrity, customer focus, and continuous improvement across all duties.
- Retail experience including operating front end equipment (e.g., cash register).
- Experience working with mobile retail applications.

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00 at the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour, based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
