• Maintain safety of the facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines; conduct safety sweeps; follow proper forklift spotting procedures; correct and report unsafe situations to management.
• Provide member service: acknowledge members; identify their needs; assist with purchasing decisions; locate merchandise; resolve issues and concerns; promote Sam's Club products and services.
• Maintain merchandise presentation by stocking merchandise, setting up, cleaning, and organizing product displays; removing damaged goods; signing and pricing merchandise appropriately; securing fragile and high‑shrink merchandise.
• Maintain the sales floor in the liquor area in accordance with company policies and procedures; handle claims and returns; zone the area; arrange and organize merchandise; identify shrink and damages.
• Operate hardware such as cash registers and related equipment; process member purchases; assist with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges following appropriate procedures for different membership and payment types.
• Maintain cash registers and lanes; reduce shrink by stocking register supplies and box bins; follow company policies for identifying concealed merchandise; meet frontend performance goals.
• Follow company and legal policies for liquor sales: secure merchandise, maintain signage, verify member identification, and complete and maintain required paperwork and documentation.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00 per hour. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
