Paramount Supply is a locally-owned, industrial distributor that specializes in the sale of pipe, valves, fittings, steam products, instrumentation, gaskets and much more. The company was founded in 1954 and has grown to 20 locations across 7 states. Our Cheyenne WY store is seeking an Outside Sales representative, which requires a constructive and energetic style, discovery of new sales opportunities and, above all, customer service.

This position is responsible for the development, coordination, hands on direct sales with an assigned group of accounts coupled with analyzing existing and new accounts for additional sales opportunities. Must have a reliable vehicle, strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication (both written and verbal). A strong technical skill in the fields of piping systems, valves, sealing products (gaskets, packings, mechanical seals, etc.),

pumps, steam and condensate systems and similar applications is preferred to support our full line of product offerings, however, we’re willing to train the right person with a similar background. Candidates must have the ability to learn details of new products and be willing and able to present these products to customers.

Responsibilities
  • Identify leads, manage prospects and acquire new business
  • Effectively demonstrate product line
  • Meet established goals for territory development and sales quotas
  • Cross train in Inside sales and warehouse
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or related field
  • 2+ years' experience in cold calling sales with strong track record of success
  • Experience in developing and executing territory sales strategies
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals
