Licensed Security Technician

Job Description

We are seeking licensed Security Technicians to support installation and deployment projects within a hyperscale data center environment. This role focuses on the installation, configuration, and support of electronic security systems including CCTV, access control, and surveillance infrastructure. Technicians will ensure all systems are installed to spec and meet strict security and compliance standards required in a high-security facility.

• Active security/low-voltage license (state-specific as required)
• Hands-on experience installing and servicing CCTV systems, cameras, and video surveillance equipment
• Experience with access control systems (badge readers, door hardware, panels)
• Ability to read and interpret security system layouts, prints, and schematics
• Experience working in secure or mission-critical environments (data centers, hospitals, etc.)
• Strong understanding of industry safety standards and site protocols
• Ability to pass background checks and meet data center security clearance requirements
• Experience working in hyperscale or enterprise data centers
• Familiarity with major security platforms (Lenel, Genetec, Avigilon, AMAG, etc.)
• Certifications in security systems or low-voltage work (BICSI, manufacturer certs, OSHA 10/30)
• Experience with camera programming, system commissioning, and troubleshooting
• Exposure to integrated systems (VMS, intrusion detection, alarms)
