Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Technician to join our team in Cheyenne, WY. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning, and troubleshooting equipment. You will serve as the local technical contact, ensuring systems operate efficiently and reliably.
Key Responsibilities- Install and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems
- Commission and validate equipment to ensure proper operation
- Verify field devices and system functionality using a laptop and diagnostic tools
- Collaborate with engineers during system startup and commissioning
- Follow and update drawing packages as needed
- Set up workstations with required software and configurations
- Communicate project updates and timelines with the project manager
- Travel to client sites for service and support
- Troubleshoot issues during startup and ongoing maintenance
- Minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience
- Strong mechanical or electrical troubleshooting abilities
- Experience with commissioning and validation of equipment
- Experience in data centers or field service environments
- Knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and multimeter usage
- Installation and validation experience
- Exposure to building automation systems
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cheyenne, WY.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $43.00/hr.
