Job DetailsWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Traveling Pipefitter-Mission Critical/Hospital to join our team in the construction industry. This is an exciting opportunity for those who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for problem-solving. The selected candidate will work on mission-critical projects, primarily in hospitals, where precision and reliability are paramount. This role requires extensive travel, providing a unique opportunity to work on a variety of projects in different locations.
Responsibilities- Installing, maintaining, and repairing piping systems in mission-critical environments, primarily hospitals.
- Measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, and welding pipes to specifications.
- Conducting regular system inspections to ensure optimal functionality and compliance with safety standards.
- Performing pressure testing to detect leaks or weaknesses in the piping system.
- Troubleshooting and providing immediate solutions to piping system issues.
- Collaborating with project managers and other team members to ensure project requirements are met.
- Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff.
- Providing consulting expertise to clients, advising on best practices, and delivering high-quality, efficient solutions.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Pipefitter in the construction industry, preferably in mission-critical environments.
- Proven experience in measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, and welding pipes.
- Extensive knowledge of piping systems and ability to troubleshoot and repair issues promptly.
- Proficiency in conducting system inspections and pressure testing.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to consult effectively with clients.
- A commitment to adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
- Ability to travel extensively to project sites as required.
- A valid driver's license. Must be willing to travel.
