Central High School (625657), 5500 Education Drive, Cheyenne, WY 82009, is projected to be a 3‑day project which will happen between March 1, 2026 through March 31, 2026.
This job is being posted in accordance with Wyoming state statute, 16-6-203, Article 2 - Preference for Wyoming State Laborers. Preference will be given to Wyoming residents who meet the requirements.
RoleAccess Control Technician needed to pull cable, install and program electronic hardware, connect power supplies, connect access control components, and provide system training. Must be AAADM certified, have four years field installation experience, attended Vanderbilt "Higher Education Class," certified by Vanderbilt to be an authorized installer/service provider, and hold the State of Wyoming licenses for low‑voltage cabling.
Responsibilities- Pull cable, install and program electronic hardware
- Connect power supplies and access control components
- Provide system training to end users
- Install and adjust door hardware on commercial doors
- Minimum of 5 years field installation experience
- AAADM certification
- Vanderbilt authorization as an installer/service provider
- State of Wyoming low‑voltage cabling license
- Attendance at Vanderbilt "Higher Education Class"
- Own tools (including ladders) and own transportation
- Passed criminal background check and pre‑employment drug screen
