Compressor Technician

We are looking for a highly motivated, mechanically inclined Compressor Technician who thrives in a dynamic, field-based environment. This role is responsible for the daily operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of a variety of compressors, pumps, and auxiliary equipment used in natural gas operations.

• Actively participate in the use of all on the job safety tools
• Identify any safety issues associated with job and ensure removal/mitigation prior to working
• Execute work as planned
• Record technical history as required by workgroup. (Global Reliability Tool (GRT), data sheet, etc.)
• Request permits and execute according to details inside of permit.

• Experience in a related field
• Discipline appropriate certification(s) if applicable or equivalent professional experience
• Strong communication skills; ability to clearly and concisely describe conditions in the field and recommend remediation steps
• Team Player; exhibits effective teamwork when working with others
• Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite software programs
• Caterpillar 316/3516 Adem 4 experience and troubleshooting skills.
• Sullivan Palatek compressor experience with JGC/4 compressors.
• Can and will work independently to perform daily duties without direct supervision.
