Job Description
Road Mechanic – responsible for preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a fleet of equipment including aerial work platforms, construction tools, generators, pumps, HVAC, and oil/gas equipment. Work in remote locations, ensuring safety and minimal downtime.
Responsibilities- Perform preventive maintenance on diesel and heavy equipment.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical problems.
- Provide tools of trade and maintain tool inventory.
- Work flexibly with changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Adhere to safety protocols and operational standards.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 3–5 years of mechanic experience with diesel or heavy construction equipment, or specialty lines (generators, pumps, HVAC, oil & gas).
- Valid driver’s license; CDL may be required in some locations.
- Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be required based on location.
- Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems fundamentals.
Bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting 50 pounds or more; work indoors or outdoors as required.
