Field Service Technician - Level 1

Road Mechanic

Work on a variety of makes, models & equipment in challenging remote locations. Provide preventive maintenance, diagnose, and advanced repairs at the customer's location in the safest, most effective way possible to avoid downtime.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance on fleet equipment.
• Diagnose and execute advanced repairs.
• Work with Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools, large-scale power generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil/gas equipment.
• Operate safely in indoor and outdoor environments.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 1‑2 years of mechanic experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment, or specialty line equipment.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record; 21 years of age required; CDL license may be required in some locations.
• May need to provide personal mechanic’s tools of trade.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.
• Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be required based on location needs.

Physical Demands: Bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 lbs or more; work indoors or outdoors.
