Flooring Installer
The SERVPRO of Cheyenne team is looking for an experienced Flooring Installer with a strong background in carpet installation to join our team. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, is reliable, and has a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monday-Friday (8:00 AM-5:00 PM)
- Measure and prepare surfaces for carpet installation
- Install carpet using appropriate tools and techniques
- Remove old flooring when necessary
- Trim carpet to fit spaces using tools like carpet knives, stretchers, and tack strips
- Ensure proper padding and seam placement
- Clean work areas and ensure a tidy finish
- Communicate with customers and team members professionally
- Assist the mitigation team as needed
Qualifications:
- Proven experience installing carpet (minimum 4 years)
- Familiar with all types of carpet and installation methods
- Ability to lift heavy materials and kneel for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management and communication skills
Compensation: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
