Loenbro is looking for Journeyman Electricians in the Cheyenne, WY area. This is a project position for candidates who have a passion for safety, are pro‑active, and have experience in heavy commercial and industrial environments. The Journeyman Electrician will work independently or as part of a team responsible for the installation, start‑up, troubleshooting, commissioning, and servicing of industrial equipment and systems.
EssentialJob Responsibilities
- Serve existing accounts by analyzing work orders; planning daily travel schedule; investigating complaints; conducting tests; resolving problems.
- Establish service by studying system requirements; ordering and gathering components and parts; completing installation; performing acceptance tests.
- Maintain rapport with customers by examining complaints; identifying solutions; suggesting improved methods and techniques; recommending system improvements.
- Keep personal equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
- Document service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
- Maintain customer confidence by keeping service information confidential.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.
- Accomplish operations and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
- Follow and perform other instructions and related duties as set forth by management.
- Capable of reading and understanding overview drawings, one‑line drawings, and electrical schematics.
- Ability to layout conduit, cable tray, and overall jobsite installations.
- Work with and train apprentices on the job.
Required:
- Minimum Journeyman Skill level experience in commercial or industrial electrical system
- Experience in electrical and pneumatic process controls
- Must be dependable, work hard and willing to put in the hours needed.
- Have excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Must be willing to submit to pre‑employment screening, including criminal background check and drug screen.
- Basic computer knowledge required.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.

Physical Demands- Standing – Remaining on one’s feet in an upright position at a workstation without moving about, for extended period of time.
- Walking – Moving about on foot.
- Sitting – Remaining in the normal seated position for extended periods.
- Lifting – Raising or lowering an object (~50 lbs.) from one level to another (includes upward pulling).
- Carrying – Transporting an object, usually holding it in the hands or arms, or on the shoulder, e.g., tools equipment, and materials up to 500 lbs. up to 10 feet.
- Pushing – Exerting force upon an object so that the object moves away from the force (includes slapping, striking, kicking and treadle actions).
- Pulling – Exerting force upon an object so that the object moves toward the forces (includes jerking).
- Ascending or descending ladders, lifts, stairs, scaffoldings, ramps, poles and the like. Body agility is emphasized.
- Maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling when walking, standing, crouching or running on narrow, slippery, or erratically moving surfaces.
- Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires full use of the lower extremities and back muscles.
- Bending legs at knees to come to rest on knee or knees.
- Bending body downward and forward by bending legs and spine.
- Crawl over, under and into equipment as necessary to perform job duties. Moving about on hands and knees or hands and feet.
- Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.
