Assists in tasks associated with concrete finishing such as smoothing and finishing surfaces on poured concrete and operating a variety of hand and power tools.

• Support, promote, and practice the Company core values, vision, and mission; follow code of ethics, workplace conduct, safety, and other established policies
• Observe safety procedures, report potentially unsafe conditions, and use equipment and materials properly
• Signals concrete deliverer to position truck to facilitate pouring concrete
• Moves discharge chute of truck to direct concrete into forms
• Spreads concrete into inaccessible sections of forms with rake or shovel
• Molds expansion joints and edges
• Sprinkle colored stone chips, powdered steel, or coloring powder on concrete to produce prescribed finish.
• Operate a variety of equipment including trucks, backhoes, air compressors, hydro hammers, jackhammers, pumps, loaders, concrete saws and mixers, hammer drills, generators and hand tools, and equipment
• Directs subgrade work, mixing of concrete, and setting of forms
• Breaks up and repairs old concrete surfaces

High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. Valid drivers' license with ability to maintain a clean driving record required.

Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience in concrete finishing preferred. Must be able to work out of town and weekends if needed.

Wears and maintains personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. Regularly required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Regularly required to use hands to manipulate and handle objects. Regularly required to communicate (talk and hear). Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, bend, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Standing/working on feet for long periods, and walking across uneven terrain.

Frequent exposure to loud noise. Regularly exposed to all outdoor weather conditions, dust, and airborne particles. Regularly exposed to fuel, oil, and other chemicals.
