We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to support commercial building automation and HVAC control systems. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, commissioning, servicing, and optimizing building automation systems at customer sites.
Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and resolve building automation and HVAC control system issues
- Commission and optimize DDC control systems
- Configure controllers, alarms, trends, and reporting functions
- Support system integrations and network communications
- Perform startup and testing activities on newly installed systems
- Train customers and building operators on system functionality
- Document service activities and communicate project updates
- Deliver excellent customer service while managing multiple priorities
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of experience in Building Automation, HVAC Controls, DDC, or a related technical field
- Experience troubleshooting commercial HVAC and control systems
- Valid driver s license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on ladders or elevated equipment
- Experience with WebCTRL, Automated Logic, Niagara, Metasys, or similar BAS platforms
- Knowledge of BACnet, BACnet/IP, and TCP/IP networking
- Associate s degree, technical certification, or related HVAC/Controls education
- Experience commissioning and integrating building automation systems
- Strong communication and customer-facing skills
