Operator Telecom Construction Equipment
We’re looking for an Operator Telecom Construction Equipment to join our team and help connect America. The Operator Telecom Construction Equipment can operate a variety of equipment used in installation, repair, and maintenance activities associated with underground construction or utilities in a safe and effective manner.

- Safely operate and control assigned equipment
- Dig pits, trenches, or potholes as directed by job plan
- Responsible for the site set‑up and clean‑up
- Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment from truck
- Set up a safety perimeter
- Perform work in all weather conditions
- Other duties as assigned
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Authorization to work in the United States for this company
- High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
- Valid State driver’s license (cannot be provisional) with an acceptable driving record
- Experience with drill set‑up and design processes (preferred)
- Experience running heavy equipment (preferred)
- Experience with drill set‑up and design processes (preferred)
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as needed
- Ability to work over‑time, after hours, on weekends, for emergencies or on‑call
- Experience with drilling equipment and understanding of its capabilities and limitations
- Ability to use locators to safely identify utilities
- Ability to read and understand work orders, safety rules, and operating instructions
- Ability to climb ladders, machinery, and other objects
- Previous construction or utility construction experience (preferred)
- Ability to meet vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and adjust focus as needed
- Exposure to dust, fumes, or airborne pathogens may occur
- Exposure to toxic or corrosive chemicals and moving machinery parts may occur
- Remote work may be required; long driving and sitting will be necessary
- Moderate noise level in the work environment
- Attendance and completion of all required company training
- Potential for working nights, holidays, and overnight travel within the state as required
- Regular and timely attendance is essential
- Stand, crouch, sit, bend, use hands and fingers to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms to spaces both high and low
- Stand, walk, climb, balance, crawl, crouch, lift, hold or stoop while on shift
- Noise level is moderate
- Work may involve exposure to outside weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold, rain, snow, sleet, dust, and adverse driving conditions such as wet roads, icy roads, and fog
The hourly wage range for this position is $23.00 – $27.00, depending on experience.
