Handyman - Part Time

Part-time Cheyenne, Wyoming On-site $23 - $28/hr

We are seeking a skilled, reliable Handyman to join our team. In this role, you will help local homeowners maintain, repair, and improve their homes. This position is ideal for an experienced tradesperson who loves working with their hands and solving problems, but wants to escape the stress of chasing leads, bidding on projects, and managing invoicing. We handle the scheduling, dispatch, and administrative tasks so you can focus on doing high-quality work and delivering great customer service.

As a full-time employee, you will enjoy a consistent schedule, regular pay, and the backing of a trusted national brand, while still maintaining the independence of working out in the field each day.

On a day-to-day basis, you will travel to scheduled residential appointments to complete a variety of small-to-medium home repairs and improvements. You will evaluate the project, discuss the scope of work with the homeowner, complete the repairs safely, and clean up the work area before moving to the next job.

• Working independently with minimal supervision while representing our brand with professionalism and integrity.

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in residential construction, remodeling, or home maintenance.
• A broad set of skills across multiple trades, such as carpentry, drywall repair, light plumbing, light electrical, tiling, and painting.
• Your own standard set of hand and power tools appropriate for home repair work.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain repairs clearly to homeowners.
• The physical ability to perform trade work, including lifting heavy materials, climbing ladders, and working in tight spaces.
• Ability to pass a standard background check.

• Experience using smartphone or tablet applications for scheduling, dispatch, or logging job details.
• Prior experience working directly with customers in their homes.
• Specific certifications or specialized training in a particular trade.
