Incineration unit is seeking an Industrial I&C Technician
for a fully on‑site role at our Kimball, Nebraska facility .
Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates outside the local area. In this role, you are responsible for performing hands‑on instrument checks, calibrations, and PLC Logic programming, along with diagnosing issues with control circuitry and assisting the electrical and maintenance departments with various tasks as needed.

Industrial I&C Technician with an excellent mechanical aptitude to join our team!
Hourly Pay $35-$48- DOE, paid weekly, OT eligible, Monday
- Friday, 45 hrs. per week minimum, 5/ 9 hour days, starting at 6:00 am. No nights or weekends!

Must be willing to work on-call and needed and live within 45-minutes of the facility.

  • HS Diploma or Equivalent
    - required

  • 1+ year instrumentation experience within an
    industrial environment - required

  • Proficiency in blueprint reading of electronic schematics
    - required

  • Proficiency in process, programming utilizing software and PLC instrumentation diagrams
    - required

  • Instrument training, degree, or certification
    - preferred

  • Calibrations/Checks
    - required

  • Control circuitry
    - required

  • Install System Controls
    - required

  • Troubleshooting
    - required

  • Motor Control Centers
    - required

  • Cabling
    - required

  • Data Control System (DCS)
    - preferred

  • Power Dist. Center
    - required

  • Power Wiring

  • NFPA 70E/Arc Flash
    - preferred

  • Records/Logs

  • VFD (Variable Frequency Drive)

  • High Voltage (480) electrical
    - required

  • Electrical training or certification a plus

  • Ability to work in team environment

  • Proficiency in Windows based applications

  • Ability to perform multiple tasks

  • Lifting up to 50 lbs. from the ground to your waste

  • Climb up and down vertical ladders

  • Capable of reaching out, over and down exerting a force

  • 20/20 eyesight corrected or uncorrected - depth perception is critical

  • Good hand/eye coordination

  • Valid Driver's License

  • Punctuality and attendance

  • Respirator fit test upon hire- clean shaven face required (mustache okay!)

  • Background check, drug screen and physical
    - required

  • Updated resume including most recent employer required for consideration
