Through Meta's sponsored Level Up Fiber Technician Pathway program, CBRE is recruiting candidates for a four-week paid training program at purpose-built training locations in Columbus or Indianapolis. Travel expenses are covered, and participants receive a daily per diem throughout training. After successful completion, graduates transition into a permanent, full-time role as a Fiber Installer at a Meta Data Center.
Note applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship (including H-1B or STEM OPT) now or in the future.
What You'll Do (and Learn to Do)During training—and once you're on the job—you'll build the skills to:
- Install, test, terminate, label, and document fiber optic cabling
- Pull low-voltage cables through conduits, ceilings, and pathways (ISP/OSP)
- Interpret floor plans, port maps, and telecom drawings to execute work accurately
- Install ladder rack, fiber troughs, seismic bracing, and grounding systems
- Patch, label, and barcode network equipment with precision and consistency
- Work safely every day while learning alongside experienced technicians
