We are seeking Experienced HVAC Technicians to service and repair commercial HVAC equipment on telecom shelters located on cell‑tower sites. This fast‑paced and rewarding role is best suited for individuals who are responsible, self‑directed, highly motivated, willing to travel, and eager to learn and grow in the telecom industry. This is a regional position; candidates should reside in the Cheyenne, Wyoming area.
CoreResponsibilities
- Maintain cooling systems – diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, install, or replace components of entire systems.
- Conduct performance checks and regular maintenance on HVAC equipment.
- Perform additional maintenance or upgrades on out‑of‑season HVAC equipment.
- Respond to service calls in a timely manner, including emergency call‑outs.
- Timely and accurate completion of daily work reports.
- Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally per the Pearce Employee Handbook and insurance requirements.
- Must be Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified (Required).
- At least 3 years of HVAC maintenance experience (commercial preferred).
- Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components, including refrigeration systems (preferred).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to comply with OSHAFCC/FAA/EPA Standards.
- Available for after‑hours and weekend call‑outs on occasion.
- Ability to travel extensively and work independently at remote sites.
- Occasional overnight stays; company covers travel costs and provides per diem.
- Must be able to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds.
- Required to pass a Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). $30.00–$38.00 (DOE). Compensation is influenced by skill set, experience, and location. In addition to wages, employees may be eligible for performance and referral bonuses, production incentives, tool/equipment and fuel stipends, company vehicle, per diem, or other applicable compensation.Benefits
