Role OverviewThe Social & Content Marketing Manager is responsible for leading Blume’s organic social, influencer partnerships, and content ecosystem. This role owns the strategy, execution, and performance of social & influencer content, ensuring it aligns with brand pillars, product priorities, retailer partnerships, and growth objectives.
You will drive cross-channel storytelling, oversee content production end-to-end, and translate insights into measurable results. In addition to hands‑on creative leadership, you will mentor and manage the Content Coordinator, build scalable content systems, and collaborate closely with the broader marketing team to ensure alignment across paid, retail, experiential, and brand initiatives.
This role requires both creative instinct and analytical expertise; someone who understands digital culture deeply, moves quickly, and can balance brand‑building with performance‑driven thinking.
What you’ll do:Organic Social Media Management
- Own and manage performance on social media platforms, including but not limited to:
Instagram, Linked In, and Tik Tok - Develop and execute a cross-channel content strategy aligned with brand and growth goals including content pillars
- Lead the development and execution of the content calendar, including creative requests and influencer/creator deliverables
- Identify platform‑specific growth opportunities and emerging trends
- Provide monthly reporting with insights and optimization recommendations
- Monitor industry trends to optimize performance
- Ensure consistent brand voice, tone, and visual identity across platforms
- Manage brand collaborations, giveaways, and outreach initiatives
- Collaborate on creative partner briefs for photographers, videographers, designers, etc.
- Lead social boosting and micro‑content “sparking” strategies
- Plan and execute paid influencer partnerships including discovery, outreach, negotiations, briefing, feedback, and reporting
- Plan and support PR and influencer events
- Monitor and report on influencer performance monthly
- Collaborate with Senior Digital Marketing Manager on whitelisting/partnership ads to manage discovery, outreach, briefing, and execution of partnerships
- Oversee and mentor
Marketing & Content Specialist - Manage workflows and creative approvals
- Provide feedback, structure, and performance direction
- Build scalable content systems and processes
- Manage social media and influencer budgets
- Has 3+ years of experience in social media and content marketing (preferably in CPG, beauty, wellness, or lifestyle brands)
- Is both a creative storyteller and a strategic thinker
- Loves being hands‑on (filming, editing, writing, concepting) but also thrives building systems and strategy
- Understands internet culture, trends, and how to make brands feel relevant (not try-hard)
- Is comfortable on camera and directing others on camera
- Gets excited by performance metrics and optimizing creative based on data
- Has experience managing creators or influencers and negotiating partnerships
- Has led or mentored at least one direct report
- Thrives in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Takes initiative, moves quickly, and doesn’t wait to be told what to do
- Wants ownership and is excited to truly shape a brand’s voice and presence
- Salary CAD $65,000 - $75,000 base, depending on experience
- Annual performance based bonus
