KIPP Chicago Middle School Teachers

At KIPP Chicago, middle schools include grades 5 - 8. We have four middle schools - KIPP Ascend Middle School, KIPP Academy Chicago, KIPP Bloom College Prep, and KIPP One Academy. Middle School Teachers at KIPP Chicago are departmentalized and focus on one content area. The content taught at each middle school varies slightly, but common classes are English/Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, Literacy Centers, Math Centers, Algebra, and History.

For SY 25-26- we have 1 7th Grade Math position and 2 8th Grade Science positions open. All other middles chool positions have been hired. Please apply with this specific interest in mind! As a KIPP Chicago Teacher, your core responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Use our aligned regional curriculum for all subject areas, including assessing students in accordance with aligned curriculum
• Use progress-monitoring tools to analyze student results for the purpose of modifying and adjusting instruction
• Provide students with daily feedback on performance and plan for individual learning needs
• Use best practices, including differentiation with instructional technology and other techniques, to execute engaging instruction at a rigorous level for all students
