Kroll’s Expert Services practice provides forensic accounting, valuation, and other financial and investigative services to attorneys and companies involved in litigation, among other forms of disputes and investigations. Kroll is looking for a Vice President to support our Expert Services team. As a Vice President you will assist engagement teams in creating forensic accounting analyses, financial models, business valuations, and organizing facts and large sets of data as dictated by the needs of the client or legal counsel.

Day to Day Responsibilities
  • Manage staff members to ensure engagement execution within established time frames
  • Assist engagement teams in providing guidance to attorneys on key accounting, financial, and business issues
  • Assist engagement teams in the development and evaluation of damages claims and other financial calculations
  • Organize and analyze large data sets to provide meaningful conclusions
  • Prepare written reports and presentations for clients
  • Review internal and external communications, including client proposals and expert reports
  • Perform assigned tasks with minimal oversight
  • Independently gather data pertinent to the engagement through direct client interaction, client site visits, and independent research
  • Contribute directly to the development of work product, expert reports, proposals, presentations, and publications communicated to current and prospective clients
Essential Traits
  • You have a Bachelor s or Master s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
  • Professional licenses or certifications, such as a CPA, CFE, or CFA is preferred
  • You have a minimum 5 years of experience in disputes/litigation support practice
  • You have demonstrated knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement analysis
  • You have demonstrated experience supporting expert opinions and providing financial analytical services to attorneys
  • You have demonstrated experience providing written deliverables
  • You have proven project management and presentation skills
  • You have proven experience managing and mentoring a team
  • You have strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills
  • You are highly proficient in Excel and have demonstrated experience preparing financial models
