Purchasing & Logistics Specialist
Proexec Consulting Inc. provided pay range: $70,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr.
I’m partnering with a well-established manufacturing company in the Chicago Heights area to hire a Purchasing & Logistics Specialist to support operations in a fast-paced heavy industrial environment
.
- Support purchasing and procurement activities for raw materials and supplies
- Manage purchase orders, supplier pricing, and order follow-ups
- Coordinate domestic & international shipments, exports, tolling, and brokerage
- Partner closely with production, warehouse, finance, and transportation teams
- Track inventory levels, shipments, and generate purchasing reports
- Experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain (manufacturing preferred)
- 1+ year of international shipping/export or transportation coordination experience
- Strong Excel and MS Office skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities
- Background in steel, aluminum, or heavy industry is a strong plus
