Assist the Director of Nursing in reshaping the team, staffing structures, and spearheading overall change management. Responsibilities include supervising clinical initiatives, monitoring metrics, and impacting patient satisfaction. The role also involves mentorship, talent development, and improving employee morale within the nursing department.

• Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, developing, implementing, evaluating, and directing day‑to‑day functions of the nursing department, in accordance with company policy and all appropriate regulations.
• Participate in facility surveys/inspections from regulatory agencies as requested by the administrator or director of nursing.
• Work with the QA Nurse to aid in the development, maintenance, and implementation of the facility quality assurance program for the nursing department.
• Assist with developing, implementing, and periodically updating resident written discharge plans.
• Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, charting, etc., as necessary throughout the day.

• Licensed as an RN in the state of Illinois.
• Previous experience in a long‑term care facility.
• Previous nurse supervisor experience.
• Expertise in staff education and change management.
