The DRIVER position at Student Transportation of America is a part‑time school bus driver role located in Chicago Heights. The schedule is Monday‑Friday with split shifts. Pay ranges from $150.00 to $200.00 per day. Candidates must have a clean driving record and be able to pass a background check.

• Drive a school bus route, picking up and dropping off student passengers at stops.
• Conduct pre‑trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation.
• Conduct post‑trip vehicle inspections.
• Attend and participate in monthly safety meetings.
• Clean the bus as necessary to maintain a professional appearance.
• Transport students and other passengers on field trips, activity trips, and charter runs as requested.

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must have a minimum of 5 years of verifiable driving history.
• Clean driving record within the last 24–36 months.
• Ability and willingness to obtain a CDL.
• Completion of a comprehensive training program.
• Pre‑employment background check.
