Cardiac Sonographer Echocardiogram Technologist

Chicago Ridge Medical Imaging is seeking a skilled and reliable Echo Technologist to join our outpatient diagnostic imaging team. This role requires strong technical expertise, efficiency in a high-volume environment, and a commitment to delivering high-quality cardiac imaging and exceptional patient care.

• Perform transthoracic echocardiograms including 2D, M-mode, Doppler, and color flow studies
• Obtain accurate cardiac measurements and ensure diagnostic image quality
• Recognize and appropriately document abnormal or critical findings following facility protocols
• Manage high patient volumes while maintaining efficiency and image quality
• Provide professional, compassionate patient care and clear procedure explanations
• Collaborate with interpreting cardiologist
• Ensure accurate documentation and image transfer in the EMR/PACS
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, HIPAA, and facility policies
• Participate in quality assurance initiatives as required

• RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI) certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of echocardiography experience preferred (outpatient experience a plus)
• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and ultrasound principles
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced outpatient setting
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills

$36–$42 per hour, based on experience and clinical proficiency

Daytime hours Part time 8-10 hours a week

Outpatient setting (no overnight shifts)

Schedule flexibility may be required based on patient volume
