This role is responsible for supporting clients with various tasks within the accounting and finance functions.
Job Responsibilities- Function in various capacities including Accounting Manager, Controller, or Project Manager for clients.
- Manage multiple client stakeholders simultaneously.
- Prepare miscellaneous accounting reports.
- Participate in ad hoc projects.
- Oversee all aspects of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing.
- Perform due diligence procedures for clients.
- Assist clients with SEC Reporting.
- Resolve complex accounting issues and assist with implementation of new accounting standards like ASC
606 and ASC
842. - Other duties as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, required; focus in Accounting preferred.
- Five or more years of related experience, required.
- Experience with public, private, or private equity companies, required.
- Experience with ERP systems such as Net Suite, Quick Books, or SAP, required.
- Experience with MS Excel at an advanced level, preferred.
- CPA certification, preferred.
- Technical skills appropriate to experience level.
- High professionalism, even under pressure.
- Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Fast learner, ethical, and effective worker.
- Ability to travel at least 50%, preferred.
