VP, Corporate Controller

Location:

Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

LHH is partnering with a publicly traded product-based company to identify a dynamic VP, Corporate Controller. This pivotal role will lead SEC reporting, corporate consolidations, technical accounting, corporate accounting, and oversee the field accounting team, reporting directly to the CFO.

• Lead corporate accounting, SEC reporting, consolidations and technical accounting issues
• Oversight of field accounting function
• Involvement in M&A integration, systems implementation and process improvement
• Collaborate with business units to provide accounting insights and support

• Proven Controllership experience leading corporate accounting and SEC reporting
• Strong understanding of business operations from an accounting perspective
• CPA certification and a foundation in Big 4 accounting firms are strongly preferred
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Local Chicago area candidate

• Flexible hybrid schedule with regularly 2 days in the office per week.

• Base compensation 240-300k
• Bonus potential up to 40% based on company and individual performance + discretionary LTI
