Staff Accountant

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and motivated Staff Accountant with hands‑on experience in Accounts Payable (AP) to support day‑to‑day accounting operations and contribute to month‑end close activities. The ideal candidate is a self‑starter with a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial systems, and internal controls.

• Process vendor invoices, verify approvals, and ensure accurate coding.
• Schedule and process vendor payments (ACH, wire, check) in a timely manner.
• Maintain vendor records and resolve any payment issues or discrepancies.
• Reconcile AP sub‑ledger to the general ledger and assist with accruals.
• Assist with annual audit and other accounting inquiries.

• Assist with general ledger accounting, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year‑end close processes.
• Prepare and maintain supporting schedules and reports for financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in accounting roles, with exposure to both accounts payable and general accounting.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting systems (e.g., Net Suite), Microsoft Excel, and AP automation tools.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The total expected compensation range for this role is $68,000 to $80,000 per year, which includes the base salary. Final compensation will be influenced by factors such as the candidate’s skills, relevant experience, degrees and certifications, job responsibilities, market conditions, and the position’s location.
