Senior Consultant in Tax & Audit Across the US

We are seeking an experienced Tax Senior to join a growing CPA firm in Chicago. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax preparation, planning, and compliance for individuals and businesses.

• Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts
• Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously
• Provide tax planning advice to clients
• Identify tax-saving opportunities and develop strategies
• Mentor and supervise junior staff members
• Stay current with federal and Chicago state tax laws and regulations
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (Master's in Taxation preferred)
• CPA license required
• 3-5 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on tax
• Proficiency in tax preparation software (e.g., CCH Pro System fx, Ultra Tax)
• Strong knowledge of federal and Chicago state tax laws
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
