Senior Accountant

Base pay range

$95,000.00/yr - $/yr

High growth, PE backed company in the Loop is hiring a senior accountant.

• Own the monthly close and general ledger accounting for multiple operating entities
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, deferrals, and reconciliations under GAAP
• Manage cash activities including bank reconciliations and short-term cash forecasting
• Produce monthly financial statements and clear variance analysis for leadership
• Maintain balance sheet accuracy across prepaids, accruals, fixed assets, and intercompany
• Partner with operational teams to support financial insights and decision-making
• Review and oversee work performed by junior or offshore accounting resources
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and automation
• Support audits and ensure documentation is accurate and audit-ready
• Grow within a fast-paced, multi-entity environment with strong career upside

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with 2–5 years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong GAAP and general ledger expertise; experience in multi-entity environments preferred
• Advanced Excel skills with experience reviewing or managing junior/offshore accounting resources
