Sr. Accountant

Description

The salary range for this position is $90,000-$110,000 and it comes with benefits, including medical, vision, dental, life, and disability insurance.

Responsibilities:

+ Conducts moderately complex accounting activities and participates heavily in monthly close process.

+ Evaluates existing processes and reconciliations for improvement. Implements efficient solutions and necessary process changes as identified.

+ Works on smaller elements of large, complex accounting projects. Leads smaller, less-complex accounting projects.

+ Brings inconsistencies and problems to the attention of management.

+ Works closely with company-wide departments to ensure accounting information is represented accurately and timely.

+ Exercises sound business acumen and judgment. Understands the financial operations of departments, divisions, and business units supported.

+ Works to ensure internal controls are executed in compliance with the Company's SOX program.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

+ Minimum 2 years' experience required, with public accounting experience preferred.

+ CPA, CMA, CIA, or master's degree preferred
