ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Bank Reconciliations

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
  • Prepare and review bank reconciliations across multiple accounts.
  • Complete and file sales tax returns for multiple states, ensuring timeliness and compliance with state-specific regulations.
  • Manage credit card administration for 50+ company credit cards, including expense report review, coding, and reconciliation.
  • Maintain accurate Work-in-Progress (WIP) schedules and update project/job costing records regularly.
  • Perform general ledger account reconciliations, including cash, inventory, prepaid expenses, accrued liabilities, AP/AR adjustments, and intercompany accounts.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, preparing journal entries and supporting schedules.
  • Maintain and update fixed asset registers, and record new assets, disposals, and monthly depreciation.
  • Manage prepaid expense amortizations and recurring accruals.
  • Help strengthen accounting processes and internal controls, recommending improvements where needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, GAAP standards, and state/federal regulations.
  • Assist with documentation for audits and support audit requests.
  • Support the Controller and CFO with ad-hoc tasks, analysis, and projects.
  • Assist with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and other duties as needed.
WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE:
  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and financial software and reporting tools.
  • State sales tax filing experience.
  • High attention to detail; ability to tackle complex transactions and maintain accurate records
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical Requirements:

    While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and stoop. The employee may occasionally lift and /or move up to 30 pounds. This position may require travel between offices, jobsites, and/or client locations, which may involve extended periods of sitting or standing, lifting light luggage, and adapting to different time zones.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

The hiring compensation range for this position is a base salary of $70,000-$90,000/year. Actual compensation will be determined based on various factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, skills, qualifications, and location, as well as internal equity and market considerations.
