Job Title: Senior Advisor, Accounting
Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid - 2 days onsite)
Type: Full‑Time, Permanent/Direct Hire
Pay Range: $140,000 - $160,000 base salary plus 20% annual bonus

Key Responsibilities- Coordinate with business stakeholders to understand priorities and initiatives, plan for accounting, reporting and internal control impact; provide ongoing support to business partners by addressing inquiries on accounting guidance, policies and processes
- Prepare technical accounting memos for new, complex or unusual transactions for the segment
- Monitor minority investments for cash flow, operational and other risks that could result in impairment; support funding opportunities and review related journal entries, account reconciliations, and other supporting documents and schedules
- Manage statutory audit processes for foreign entities from recent acquisitions
- Support M&A activity by coordinating journal entries for acquisition, divestiture and investment activity; review supporting documents and schedules and support quality of earnings, internal and external audits/reviews and other M&A related processes and inquiries
- Coordinate all month‑end close process activities for related technical areas
- Execute on opportunities to streamline and improve accounting processes by implementing technology‑driven solutions
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required
- 7+ years of relevant accounting and business experience, including public accounting
