- Work on multiple engagements in various industries, including Manufacturing, Distribution, Real Estate, Construction, Tech, Start‑Ups and more.
- First year seniors 70% review and 30% preparation, experienced seniors 100% review of tax returns for Partnerships (1065), and S and C‑corps (1120), Individuals (1040) and others, as assigned.
- Handle routine client tax questions, research tax issues, and work with clients to collect necessary information for tax return completion and compliance.
- Assist in tax field exams and any tax notice resolutions.
- Recognize and inform senior management of opportunities to increase level and types of services to clients.
- Assist with training and developing staff and interns.
- Review and prepare tax returns for Partnerships (1065), S and C‑corps (1120), Individuals (1040) and others.
- Handle routine client tax questions and research tax issues.
- Collect necessary information from clients for tax return completion and compliance.
- Assist in tax field exams and tax notice resolutions.
- Identify opportunities to expand services to clients and inform senior management.
- Support training and development of staff and interns.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- Eligible to sit (with 150 credit hours) or working toward obtaining CPA.
- 2+ years of experience in public accounting industry at a mid‑market firm.
