Technical Accounting Director

Role Overview

As a Technical Accounting Director
, you will provide expertise on complex accounting issues, ensure compliance with GAAP, and guide the organization through technical accounting matters including revenue recognition, lease accounting, and financial reporting.

• Lead technical accounting research and provide guidance on complex transactions.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee implementation of new accounting standards and policies.
• Partner with finance leadership on strategic accounting decisions.
• Prepare and review technical memos and documentation for auditors.
• Support M&A activities with purchase accounting and integration guidance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required.
• Extensive experience in technical accounting and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, ASC 606, ASC 842, and other relevant standards.
• Ability to interpret and apply complex accounting guidance.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
