Billing Specialist; Chicago

We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join our growing accounting and billing team in our Chicago office.

In this role, you will work closely with attorneys, accounting personnel, and administrative staff to manage the firm's billing process and help ensure timely and accurate client invoicing.

• Managing the full billing cycle, including pre-bills, invoice preparation, revisions, and final billing
• Reviewing and applying client billing guidelines
• Processing billing adjustments, write-downs, and write-offs as needed
• Assisting with electronic billing submissions and invoice processing
• Working collaboratively with attorneys and the billing team to meet monthly billing deadlines
• Preparing reports and supporting other billing and accounting functions

• At least 5 years of prior legal billing experience
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Experience working in a fast-paced professional environment
• Excellent communication and client service skills
• Pro Law experience is a plus

This is an in-office position, five days per week.
