Our client, a rapidly growing private equity-backed services company, is seeking a hands-on Controller to partner directly with the CFO and help scale the accounting and finance function during an exciting period of growth and transformation.
This role offers broad exposure across financial reporting, technical accounting, operational accounting, process improvement, systems implementation, and M&A integration. The Controller will play a key leadership role in building scalable processes, enhancing reporting capabilities, supporting acquisition activity, and driving finance transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process across multiple entities
- Oversee consolidated financial reporting, board reporting, lender reporting, and audit activities
- Manage technical accounting matters, including revenue recognition, purchase accounting, intercompany transactions, and complex accounting issues
- Partner with leadership on acquisition integration efforts and accounting due diligence
- Drive ERP implementation and process automation initiatives to improve efficiency and controls
- Oversee AP, AR, billing, collections, payroll coordination, treasury, and cash management activities
- Establish scalable accounting policies, reporting standards, and internal controls
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, HR, IT, and executive leadership to improve financial visibility and decision-making
- Join a well-capitalized, rapidly growing organization backed by a leading private equity sponsor
- Work closely with an experienced CFO and gain significant visibility across the business
- Lead a major ERP implementation and finance transformation initiative
- Gain exposure to M&A, acquisition integration, and strategic growth initiatives
- Progressive accounting leadership experience within a multi-entity environment
- Strong technical accounting and financial reporting expertise
- Experience supporting audits, lender reporting, and process improvement initiatives
- Exposure to ERP implementations (Net Suite) and systems optimization projects preferred
