Audit Senior

The Audit Senior is responsible for planning and executing audit engagements, supervising staff, and ensuring the completion of high-quality audit work in accordance with applicable professional standards and regulatory requirements. This role works closely with managers, partners, and clients to assess financial reporting risks, evaluate internal controls, and deliver timely and accurate audit services.

• Plan and execute audit engagements for privately held businesses, nonprofit organizations, and other clients.
• Perform risk assessments, evaluate internal controls, and develop appropriate audit procedures.
• Review financial statements, general ledgers, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
• Prepare and review audit work papers in accordance with applicable auditing and accounting standards.
• Identify audit findings, internal control deficiencies, and potential accounting issues.
• Research and apply relevant accounting principles under U.S. GAAP and auditing standards.
• Supervise, train, and mentor staff accountants and provide constructive feedback.
• Manage engagement timelines, budgets, and client deliverables to ensure deadlines are met.
• Communicate audit findings and recommendations to managers, partners, and client personnel.
• Maintain strong client relationships and coordinate requests for information throughout the audit process.
• Assist with financial statement preparation and related disclosures.
• Ensure compliance with firm policies, professional standards, and quality control procedures.
