Hours 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (Mon-Fri) Hybrid Compensation At  S&C, we are dedicated to providing competitive and equitable compensation for all our team members, and we are committed to transparency in our pay practices. The estimated annual base salary range for this position is $205,843 - $. Individual pay within this salary range is determined by several compensable factors, including performance, knowledge, job-related skills and experience, and relevant education or training.

This role is also eligible for S&C’s annual incentive plan (AIP), subject to eligibility criteria.

Are you passionate about Global Finance & Accounting? S&C Electric Company is seeking a dynamic individual to join our Global Finance and Accounting team. As Director-Global Accounting, you’ll be crucial in ensuring continued innovation and supporting our diverse team.

The Director, Global Accounting is responsible for overseeing the company's international accounting operations and ensuring timely, accurate and efficient financial close, reporting and accounting execution across multiple regions.  This role provides leadership for global accounting standardization, internal controls, process excellence, organizational effectiveness and readiness for global tax reporting requirements, including accounting support for OECD Pillar II and transfer pricing matters. The position serves as a key leader for corporate accounting operations and acts as a strategic partner to the Vice President, Finance in support of financial reporting, operational excellence, financials controls, and organizational transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Global Accounting Leadership Oversee the company's international accounting operations across manufacturing and non-manufacturing locations. Establish consistent accounting processes, close procedures, and governance across regions. Develop and executive the accounting organization's strategic roadmap. Ensure alignment of accounting practices with corporate objectives and business requirements. Support a high-performing international accounting organization focused on accuracy, accountability, controls and continuous improvement. Financial Close & Reporting Oversee the monthly, quarterly and annual financial close processes across international entities.

Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP and local statutory requirements. Drive balance sheet integrity through robust reconciliation and review processes.  Oversee preparation and review of management reporting packages and supporting schedules. Ensure compliance with all internal and external financial reporting deadlines. International Accounting Oversight Provide leadership and governance for international accounting operations.
