We're hiring an Accountant to support a corporate accounting team with monthly and annual close, reconciliations, and reporting. This is a hands-on role for someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable with deadlines, and likes improving processes.
Responsibilities- Assist with month-end and year-end close
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
- Analyze account activity and explain variances
- Support revenue accounting and review of agreements
- Prepare schedules and documentation for audits
- Help improve reporting through Excel and automation
- Assist with internal controls and special projects
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years of accounting experience (or 1+ year with a Master's degree)
- Working knowledge of GAAP
- Experience with reconciliations and the close process
- Experience with an ERP system
- Advanced Excel skills
- CPA or progress toward it
- Public accounting experience
- Experience with multiple entities
- Internal controls experience
- Fully remote
- Permanent, full-time position
