Vantage Group Accounting is a Boise-based CPA firm and a member of the Linked Accounting Alliance. We’re a team of about 15. That means you’ll work directly with partners, have real visibility into your clients’ businesses, and see your work make a difference. We already have remote team members, so this role is fully remote.
We serve privately held businesses and the owners and families behind them. Most of our clients generate between $10M and $50M in annual revenue. Our work includes their business returns and the high-net-worth individual returns that go with them.
The RoleWe’re looking for an experienced Tax Senior with strong return preparation skills. You might be ready to start learning review, or you might already be doing it. Either way, we’ll support your growth into review and client relationship work. You’ll handle a mix of business and individual returns, act as a go‑to contact for clients, and help develop junior staff as the team grows.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Prepare and review business tax returns for partnerships, S corporations, and C corporations.
- Prepare and review individual returns for high-net-worth clients, along with trust and estate returns.
- Lead client calls and act as a trusted point of contact for business owners and their families.
- Identify planning opportunities across a client’s business and personal tax picture.
- Review work from staff accountants and provide clear, constructive feedback.
- Work closely with partners on complex client issues and year‑round planning.
- 3+ years of public accounting experience.
- Active CPA/EA license (highly preferred)
- Experience with both business and individual tax.
- Experience serving privately held businesses with $5M to $100M in annual revenue.
- Hands‑on work with HNWIs, partnerships, S corps, some C corps, and trusts and estates.
- Client‑facing experience and confidence leading client calls.
- Discretionary bonus of up to 10%
