About the role
Oyster is a global employment platform that enables companies to hire, pay, and care for talent anywhere. This role owns day to day accounting, monthly reporting, and ERP activities for Oyster entities with a focus on EMEA, including close, audits, and intercompany processes.
What you'll do- Manage full cycle accounting and intercompany transactions for global subsidiaries
- Prepare and review financial statements and balance-sheet reconciliations across multiple entities
- Lead month-end and year-end close activities with clear checklists and documentation
- Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual local statutory filings and provide support packages
- Oversee local statutory audits and respond to auditor questions and adjustments
- Proactively coordinate dependencies across Finance, Payroll, Tax, Legal, and external partners
- At least 5 years of accounting experience, including 1 year in a senior-accountant scope
- CPA or part-qualified or equivalent professional qualification
- Strong knowledge of multi-entity accounting, intercompany transactions, financial reporting, reconciliations, close, and audit support
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and large dataset handling
- Meticulous attention to detail and evidence-based problem solving
- Strong written and spoken English with effective asynchronous stakeholder management
