** Job Responsibilities
*** Serve as the firm's subject matter expert on revenue accounting, ensuring revenue is accurately and completely recorded in the general ledger.
* Prepare monthly journal entries and support the month-end close process.
* Reconcile and analyze general ledger accounts in accordance with GAAP.
* Partner with FP&A to analyze and reconcile revenue variances against budget and prior year results.
* Partner with the Technical Accounting team to ensure compliance with ASC 606 revenue recognition requirements, including:
* Evaluating new business ventures and transactions for appropriate revenue recognition treatment.
* Supporting the implementation and execution of revenue-cycle controls and processes.
* Identifying and driving process improvement opportunities related to revenue accounting.
* Reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts, including the A/R reserve, work-in-progress, and deferred revenue subledgers; investigate, document, and communicate variances.
* Analyze and interpret revenue-related data across business units, cost centers, and acquisitions to ensure reporting accuracy.
* Respond to requests from FP&A and business leaders and support external audit activities.
* Prepare and deliver financial analyses, reporting, and insights for key stakeholders.
* Develop and facilitate training for firm leaders on revenue recognition, reserve methodologies, and related accounting processes.
* Support special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned.  
** Requirements
* ** Bachelor's degree in Accounting
* Minimum 4 years of progressive accounting experience or equivalent relevant experience.
* Strong knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition principles and related compliance requirements.
* Experience with general ledger accounting, month-end close, journal entries, account reconciliations, revenue analysis and reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, including A/R reserves, WIP, and deferred revenue.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data.
* Demonstrated integrity, sound judgment, analytical thinking, ownership, and a continuous improvement mindset.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively partner internally and externally.  
** Preferred Qualifications
*** CPA license
* Experience in professional services and/or multi-entity environments
* Workday experience
