Our work is focused on long-term impact and relationships built on what matters most: trust and enduring performance.

About the Position:

Performance Trust is seeking an Accountant to join our internal finance and accounting team. • Own the preparation of PBCs for annual audits and tax filings.
  • Analyze, interpret, and present financial data to support business line managerial reporting and FP&A decision-making.
  • Identify, research, and resolve accounting discrepancies and technical issues with limited oversight.
  • Respond to financial queries from FP&A and other departments; drive process improvements that improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Assist in the development and documentation of internal accounting policies and controls.
Requirements We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
  • 3–7 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in financial services, investment banking, or a related industry.

  • Solid understanding of GAAP and demonstrated experience with complex journal entries, reconciliations, and close processes.
  • Experience with fixed-income, bond, or securities accounting a plus.
  • Strong IT skills -- GL ERP (Oracle preferred), advanced Excel; experience with large data sets.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and exercise sound judgment with minimal supervision.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to partner across teams and translate financial data for non-finance stakeholders.
  • Candidates must be eligible to work permanently in the United States without sponsorship.
